Log In to MyUMUC
After you apply, watch for an e-mail with your UMUC username and instructions to log in to MyUMUC, where you can check your admission status, see whether transcripts have been received, view financial aid and account information, and access other services.
Submit Your Transcripts
We recommend you start the process of submitting official transcripts soon after admission so our transfer credit team can evaluate your past study and let you know how close you are to a degree.
Take Placement Tests
If you're an undergraduate student, you need to take the required math placement test prior to registering for any math courses. Writing and foreign language placement tests are also available, but not required.
Register for Classes
After submitting your application, you'll be given access to your online student account, where you can check your application status and register for classes.
