William T. "Bill" Wood
William T. "Bill" Wood is the founder of Wood Law Offices, LLC, in Rockville, Maryland. He has been practicing law for more than 35 years and is past president of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association (now Maryland Association for Justice) and former Governor of the Maryland State Bar Association. He has been a criminal prosecutor, Treasurer of the President's Council of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) and Maryland State delegate to ATLA.
Wood earned a BS in economics from the University of Maryland and a JD from the University of Maryland School of Law. He was appointed in 1999 to the University System of Maryland Board of Regents, and he currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Inc. and the Board of Directors of the University System of Maryland Foundation, Inc.
