Procurements for UMUC are conducted by both UMUC's Procurement Office and Strategic Contracting Office. UMUC's Procurement Office is located in Room 4100 of the Administration Building. RFP 91295: Information Technology Quality Assurance Testing Services


University of Maryland University College (UMUC) is soliciting proposals for the provision of comprehensive quality assurance testing services for UMUC's Office of Information Technology. The selected vendor will support UMUC by performing comprehensive quality assurance (“QA”) testing for its Information Technology departments. The University has a large portfolio of pending and/or contemplated worldwide technology initiatives requiring comprehensive QA support targeted for delivery over the course of the next three years, in addition to existing technology.

Current UMUC technology includes, but is not limited to, customized applications designed to assist in the management of UMUC's complex and diverse business functions, processes, and requirements such as: PeopleSoft (Finance and HRSA); Workday; SalesForce; Jive; and Desire2Learn. The portfolio also contains self-hosted, third party hosted, cloud environments and in house development. UMUC's technology environment continues to evolve so the Vendor must quickly adapt and supply expertise to a constantly changing set of technologies that require QA testing and management. The Vendor must be able to provide a scalable solution that responds to the dynamics of UMUC's project management schedule in addition to routine activities. The initial term of the contract is anticipated to be July 6, 2015 through June 30, 2018.
