Provide a summary of what knowledge and skills you will gain from your workplace learning experience, such as developing new products in response to market needs, writing an effective proposal or gaining competency in client/server computing.

(Five to eight are required for a 6 credit workplace learning experience)

This list will help you identify additional courses that you might want to take in future semesters to advance your career. Note that workplace learning credit will not replace any course offered for credit at UMUC. Workplace learning credit may be applied toward your major or minor (up to 6 credits), toward your related courses or as a general elective. Your counselor or workplace learning staff will explain how you can apply your workplace learning credit to your degree requirements at UMUC.
