Academic Advisors: Who We Are and What We Do

• Assist students with course selection via e-mail, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
  

• Assist students with course registration and withdrawals.
  

• Disseminate information to students in order to maximize the university's resources.
  

• Provide students with necessary forms, course of actions and policies.
  

• Help students interpret degree requirements, policies, and their Degree Progress Reports.
  

• Maintain communication with students to ensure successful completion of degree plan.
  

• Serve as a liaison between students and various internal departments.
  

• Help students develop academically in support of their education.
