Kenedy Ejacha – 2014 UMUC Student Advisory Council Member

Biography

Kenedy Ejacha – UMUC Student Advisory Council MemberKenedy Ejacha is originally from Cameroon and currently resides in Maryland. He serves as a volunteer assistant pastor in his church and is a workforce developer for one of the largest nonprofit social service organizations in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

Ejacha earned an Associate of Arts in Mass Communication at Prince George's Community College, where he graduated with high honors. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at University of Maryland University College, where he continues to be recognized for his high academic achievements, such as his consistent presence on the dean's list. Ejacha is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society and is a 2014 inductee to the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Touched by the scenes of devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, Ejacha volunteered his services in 2007 to help provide free reconstruction assistance to the underprivileged population of New Orleans whose homes were destroyed. 

As a member of the UMUC Student Advisory Council, Ejacha is committed to diligently serving the UMUC population.
