How to Make a Payment
UMUC makes paying for your education as convenient as possible with several ways to pay.
Payments are accepted by credit card, check, money order, or electronic debits from your checking or savings account. UMUC tuition and fees are due in full at the time of registration (unless you’re enrolled in our interest-free monthly payment plan or receiving financial aid or employer tuition assistance).
If you register by mail, fax, or in person, payment is due with your registration or must be mailed the day of registration.
Payment plans for UMUC tuition and fees are administered by Educational Computer Systems, Inc. ECSI TuitionSelect offers a variety of payment plans and schedules that allow you to spread out payment for tuition and fees over several months.
How to Enroll in the TuitionSelect Payment Plan
- Log into MyUMUC
- Select Student Center.
- Select Payment Plan (located under the Finances section).
- From the drop-down menu, select the term for your payment plan. Once selected, you will be directed to the payment plan application page (be sure to select the appropriate term).

Using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card, or an e-check, you can easily pay your account balance online anytime.

Credit card payments are subject to credit approval immediately after registration.
Cash payments are accepted at the Academic Center at Largo.
