Marky Campbell

Marky CampbellMarky Campbell serves as vice president for Enrollment Management at UMUC. She came to the university in 1999 as assistant coordinator at Andrews Air Force Base. She has since served as military liaison to regional programs, director of regional military programs, executive director of Maryland Operations and assistant vice president of Maryland Operations.

Ms. Campbell then took on the role of interim vice president of Enrollment Management, during which time the university met and exceeded enrollment goals for both summer and fall 2008 terms, laying the groundwork for an equally successful spring enrollment campaign.

Ms. Campbell brings a breadth of experience to UMUC. She has taught English as a second language, worked as a center director for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and served as an educational counselor for the U.S. Department of Defense. She has also served in an advisory capacity to a number of military organizations, including Air Force spouse groups and family support units.

She holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Kentucky and has completed graduate-level coursework in human resources management. In 2008, Ms. Campbell received the UMUC President's Distinguished Achievement Award, honoring her for her many accomplishments.
