University of Maryland University College's Office of Career Services and Alumni Relations is partnering with Revature, a technology industry talent development company, to offer two new online coding programs at no cost to current UMUC students and alumni. These programs were created for those interested in learning coding and software development to complement their IT coursework.

  1. Revature Pro: Designed for IT majors and students in other majors who want to become versed in software development and coding, Revature Pro offers current UMUC students the opportunity to augment their information technology and computer science coursework with online coding courses and projects.
  2. Revature Coding Bootcamp: UMUC alumni are eligible to apply for this 12-week coding program. Not everyone will qualify, and the completion rate for those who participate is roughly 35 percent; however, those who successfully complete the program will receive no-cost industry certifications and are guaranteed to be hired by Revature.
