University of Maryland University College is proud to offer a full scholarship opportunity for volunteer caregivers of our nation's injured servicemembers. The Pillars of Strength Scholarship is designed to honor the exceptional sacrifices and extraordinary commitment of these exemplary individuals.
If you are a volunteer caregiver, you understand that your dedication often pushes your personal goals to the backburner. We understand too. This scholarship—supported and managed by the Yellow Ribbon Fund, the Blewitt Foundation, and UMUC—is designed to help you jumpstart your education in a high-demand, career-focused undergraduate or graduate program at UMUC.
The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, fees, and course-required textbooks, and the application deadline is fast approaching. Find out more about the detailed eligibility criteria and application instructions.
Apply by February 28 for a chance to be awarded the scholarship in fall 2017. Or, if someone you know seems like a perfect fit for this opportunity, please encourage them to apply!
