Transcript Request Information
The official transcripts show all coursework taken at UMUC, regardless of the location. For students who have received an official evaluation and have regular student status, transfer credit from other institutions is listed as well.
If you are requesting a UMUC transcript be sent to another institution, you must specify the following:
- full name, including maiden name or any other names under which the records may be filed,
- Student ID number,
- date of birth, and
- dates and place of attendance.
Each UMUC transcript that is issued to another institution costs $5 for UMUC Stateside, and $5 for UMUC–Asia and UMUC–Europe. Payment must accompany each signed request for a transcript.
Please allow at least two weeks for your transcript requests to be filled. No transcripts will be released until all financial obligations have been satisfied.

Please Note
Official academic records are maintained by UMUC’s Student Affairs and transferred between UMUC–Europe, UMUC–Asia, and UMUC Stateside as necessary—at no charge to our military students. Therefore, if you are transferring from one of our overseas divisions to UMUC Stateside, or to one of UMUC's graduate programs, you do not need to request a transcript. UMUC advisors will automatically request your files once an updated application for admission has been received.
However, if you have completed 6 semester hours with UMUC–Asia, UMUC–Europe, or UMUC Stateside, you need to request an official evaluation before leaving that division. Even though your records will be automatically transferred from one division to another, it is helpful to have a copy of your last updated evaluation when meeting or speaking with a new advisor. (If you have taken courses since your last evaluation, we suggest you also obtain a copy of your transcript to help you make new course selections.) Please know that it may take up to six weeks for student records to be transferred from one division to another.
