Certificate Error Messages

You may get a certificate error message when logging into certain databases, such as RefWorks, EIU databases, and Homeland Security Digital Library.

Here is what to do:

Internet Explorer:

1. On the Security Alert screen, click YES.
   
   
   
   
   
2. On the Security Information screen, click YES.
   
   
   
   

Firefox (latest versions):

1. On the Secure Connection Failed screen, click the link which says OR YOU CAN ADD AN EXCEPTION.
   
   
   
   
2. Then click ADD EXCEPTION.
   
   
   
   
3. On the Add Security Exception screen, click GET CERTIFICATE.
   
   
   
   
4. Then click CONFIRM SECURITY EXCEPTION.
