Transcripts: How can I check the status of transcripts sent to University of Maryland University College?

Students can view whether University of Maryland University College has received their transcripts from other institutions by viewing the Previous Education tab in the Academic History section of MyUMUC.

Note: Students can only see whether a transcript has been received; they cannot view the transcript in MyUMUC. To view a transcript from another institution, please contact that institution.

The delivery time for transcripts varies by the transcript medium, sending institution, and carrier.

  • Transcripts sent via mail or parcel service take an average of ten (10) business days to arrive and take up to three business days to be processed and show as received. Some transcripts can take longer, especially transcripts coming from outside of the United States.
  • Electronic transcripts are typically received within two business days and take up to three business days to be processed and show as received.
If UMUC has not received your transcript within the average time frame, you should check with the sending institution to confirm the date sent.

Transcript Status Definitions

Received: A status of "Received" indicates your transcript was received on the date displayed.
Desired: A status of "Desired" indicates the transcript has not been received.

Note: You may notice multiple rows displaying a status of Received for the same transcript. This can occur due to additional processing associated with your transcript and does not indicate multiple transcripts have been received.
