UMUC closed on 3/21

Due to inclement weather, UMUC Maryland and Quantico locations are closed on 3/21 and all on-site classes are cancelled. Online classes are not affected. For updates, visit or call 301-985-SNOW.

Browsers: How do I enable Java? (Mac)

NOTE: You may have to wait a few seconds while the Java configurations are read before they begin to work on your Mac.

Safari (Mac OS X):
Step 1: From the drop-down menu, select Preferences.
Step 2: Select the Security Lock icon/tab at the top of the window.
Step 3: Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox under the Web content category.
Step 4: Close the dialog box to save your changes.
Step 5: Refresh your browser.

Firefox 3.5 and higher:
Step 1: Click on Tools and select Options.
Step 2: Click the Content button along the top of the Options window.
Step 3: Check the box to Enable Java and Enable Javascript.
Step 4: Click OK.
