Nomination Essay
Reasons for nominating myself for membership on the Staff Advisory Committee:
I believe that communication, creativity, and innovation are some of the most important tools in a university community.
A member of the Staff Advisory Committee should serve as an active and participatory line of communication with the university community and provide a means through which university staff members can discuss and make recommendations to the president.
If selected as a member of the Staff Advisory Committee, my objective would be to seek out the issues, interest, and ideas of fellow employees, submit recommendations, and be that effective communication link between the President and the university's staff members.
*In addition to self-nomination, Les Wright received a nomination from a staff member.
