Biography
Tonya currently works in the office of Worldwide Faculty Recruitment, and has a great deal of experience working with both faculty and students at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Tonya has been with UMUC since May 5, 2005, and currently has her Bachelors of Science in psychology. She will be finishing her masters degree this May, and will be starting law school in the fall.
Nomination Essay
Having been with the UMUC team since May of 2005 and previously serving on the Adelphi Staff Advisory Council, Tonya understands the needs of the administration and staff at UMUC. As such, she possesses the ability to represent the concerns of our staff well, and can further share this ability by being elected to another term on ASAC. Further, her experience in coordinating such events as Bring your Daughters and Sons to Work Day, will prove vital for another term in ASAC.
