University Centre is located on US Route 1 in College Park, next door to the Seven Seas Chinese Restaurant. Visitors to University Centre need to call the department they plan to visit ahead of time for the door code.

Visitor Parking

The University Centre parking lot is gated. UMUC employees should swipe the same parking badge they use at the headquarters garage to gain entrance at University Centre. Non-employee visitors should take a ticket at the gate and will be given a token to allow them to exit the parking lot free of charge.

Directions

From UMUC’s Headquarters in Adelphi
Exit by turning right onto University Boulevard. Travel about 1.75 miles and take exit for US Route 1 South (Baltimore Avenue). Travel about half a mile on US Route 1 and turn left onto Pontiac Street. 

From UMUC’s PG Metro Location
Exit visitor parking, turning right on East-West Highway (MD Route 410). Turn right onto Belcrest Road. At second light, turn left onto Adelphi Road. Turn right onto University Boulevard (MD Route 193). Travel about 1.75 miles and take exit for US Route 1 South (Baltimore Avenue). Travel about half a mile on US Route 1 and turn left onto Pontiac Street.

From Baltimore
Take I-95 south toward Washington. Merge onto the Capital Beltway (I-495) east toward College Park/Silver Spring. Take exit 25B onto US Route 1 south (Baltimore Avenue) toward College Park. Turn left onto Pontiac Street.

From Annapolis
Take US Route 50 west toward Washington. Take the Capital Beltway I-495 North/I-95 North exit toward Baltimore/Silver Spring (Exit 7B). Take exit 25 onto Baltimore Avenue (US Route 1) south toward College Park. Turn left onto Pontiac Street.

From Montgomery County and Points West
Take the Capital Beltway (I-495) toward College Park. Immediately after the exit for I-95 north, take exit 25-B onto US Route 1 south. Travel about 1.5 miles and turn left onto Pontiac Street.

From Alexandria, VA and Points South of Washington
Take I-295 north toward Baltimore. I-295 becomes the Baltimore-Washington Pkwy (MD Route 295). Exit onto Riverdale Road west toward Hyattsville/New Carrollton. Riverdale Road becomes East-West Highway (MD Route 410). After about two miles, turn right onto Baltimore Avenue (US Route 1) and travel about two miles. Turn right onto Pontiac Street.

From Downtown Washington D.C.
From downtown, take New York Avenue NW toward Maryland. New York Avenue turns into US Route 50 East. Bear left onto the Baltimore-Washington Pkwy (MD-295) toward Baltimore. Take the Riverdale Road exit toward Hyattsville. Riverdale Road becomes East-West Highway. Turn right onto Kenilworth Ave, then left onto Paint Branch Pkwy. Turn right (north) onto Baltimore Avenue (US Route 1), and then right onto Pontiac Street.
