Maryland Community College Scholarship spring semester deadline

Most of the scholarships listed below are renewable. Renewable scholarships are those that allow recipients to remain eligible for aid under the same program for more than one year. To be considered for renewal, you must reapply each year. Renewal awards are not guaranteed. You may receive one UMUC scholarship or grant award per academic year.

Note: Unless otherwise indicated, UMUC graduate scholarships require a minimum GPA of 3.0 and completion of 9 graduate credits at UMUC.

  • Gibson/Mensah Endowed Scholarship
    • Pursuing the Master of Science in Health Care Administration or the Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Health Care Administration
    • Demonstrated financial need
  • Graduate School of Management and Technology Endowed Scholarship Fund
    • Demonstrated financial need
  • Joyce Wright Masters of International Management Educational Fund
    • Provides support to University of Maryland University College graduate students who need financial assistance to purchase textbooks from UMUC’s designated book supplier for the International Management program
  • NCMA Tysons Corner Chapter Scholars Fund
    • Demonstrate financial need
    • Enrolled part-time (6 credits)
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA
    • Preference given to students who meet one or more of the following:
      • Members of the Tysons Corner Chapter of NCMA
      • Residents of or employed within Alexandria City, Arlington County, Fairfax County or Loudon County
  • Ralph Hiteshew Memorial Scholarship
    • Enrolled in the management information systems specialization of the Master of Science in Management program
    • Demonstrated financial need
  • Ray Ehrensberger Scholarship
    • Demonstrated financial need
    • Preference given to students specializing in International Business Management
  • Richard Neidig Scholarship Fund for Excellence in Graduate Education
    • Degree seeking in any programs of Graduate School of Management and Technology
    • Minimum GPA of 3.5
    • Demonstrated financial need
