Fair Practices Unit

In an effort to provide a sensitive and proactive organization in implementing the Affirmative Action , Equal Opportunity, and Sexual Harassment policy, UMUC has established the Fair Practices Unit (FPU).

The FPU is comprised of a Fair Practices Officer and three Equal Opportunity Officers (UMUC-Stateside, UMUC-Asia and UMUC-Europe). The unit is responsible for receiving discrimination complaints and the timely processing and resolution of such complaints.
