New MDE Curriculum
Since fall 2007, the Master of Distance Education (MDE) program has a new curriculum. Find more details here: http://www.umuc.edu/programs/grad/mde/
We now offer several dual degrees with other UMUC graduate programs: the Master of Science in management and the Master of Business Administration (MBA). Read more here: http://www.umuc.edu/programs/grad/mde/dual.shtml. Dual degrees are available for students in both the new and old curriculum, but both degrees need to be completed within the seven-year time limit from when you took your first course.
Did You Start Your Program Prior to Fall 2007?
These curriculum changes apply to all students who began the program in fall 2007 or later. If you started prior to fall 2007 and wish to switch to the new curriculum, you may do so by contacting your advisor. The previous requirements have been maintained in case you decide to continue with your previous curriculum. Make sure you visit the following link to understand how to make the decision and to plan for courses in the next semester: http://umuc.edu/gradexplore/mde.shtml
