Prospective students who attend the April 8, 2014 event will be eligible to have the $50 application fee waived. The $100 application fee for the Doctor of Management program cannot be waived.
While negotiating salary is usually not easy and can be uncomfortable, it is important to know when it’s appropriate and how to do it right. Learn how and when to successfully negotiate salary and the importance of being prepared with options. During the webinar guest speaker T. Michael Andrews, Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary, US Department of Housing and Urban Development, will share his expertise on federal salary negotiation. He manages his division’s Human Capitol and is OPM certified.
Rhoda Smackum, career advisor at University of Maryland University College, will lead the webinar. She'll teach you how to successfully negotiate salary and the importance of being prepared with options.
Smackum is an associate certified career coach and global career development facilitator. She's an expert in career exploration and transition, working with special populations, strategizing job searches, and supervision.
