Recognizing the impact of “big data” on various career fields, UMUC is hosting a Data Base Management Systems for Big Data Webinar, on Tuesday, April 16, from 7 to 8 p.m. Presented by Norman T. Kutemperor, founder and president /CEO of Scientel Information Technology, this event will  

  • Address today's big data demands in information management tasks for growing businesses, as well as scientific, government, and other organizations. 
  • Focus on NoSQL Data Base Management Systems (DBMS) that can handle structured/unstructured, transactional/non-transactional, indexed/non-indexed data types
