Next Steps

You must submit the form on the last page of this orientation before you register for the Co-op course. Otherwise, you will encounter technical difficulties. Please continue to the end of this orientation to prevent any registration problems.

Please refer to your package for instruction on how to register via MyUMUC. Please remember that you will not be able to access your WebTycho account for approximately 24 hours after you have registered. If 24 hours have elapsed since you registered, and you are still unable to access your class, please call WebTycho support at 1-800-807-4862.

You must initiate contact with your faculty sponsorwithin two days of this orientation. You will need to provide him or her with your start, end and learning contract dates. You must communicate with your faculty sponsor at least four times over the 15 week period. During your first contact, you will introduce yourself and discuss a draft of your learning contract for faculty input. The faculty member’s phone, e-mail, fax, and home address are found on the top of the syllabus that you have or will receive in the mail.

If any circumstances impact your enrollment in Co-op, contact your Co-op counselor immediately.

Repeating Co-op

Many students find they are positioned for additional new learning as a result of enrolling in Co-op. If you are given new responsibilities, consider enrolling in Co-op again. Students may apply up to 15 Co-op credits toward a first bachelor's degree or 9 credits toward a second degree.
