Learning Summary: I will learn to manage time, tasks, and people in a timely and efficient manner.

ACTIVITY1: I will learn to analyze and apply the impact of earnings and sales with project reporting. After obtaining sufficient hands-on experience, I hope to be able to identify problem areas and projects, and learn recovery systems before major losses impact bottom line earnings. I will also learn to produce this information in an easy to read and understandable format, accompanied by visual aids.

ACTIVITY2: I will learn to establish and enforce budgeting deadlines; review and analyze pro forma statements requiring explanations or changes as appropriate; work closely with corporate and unit management and accounting staff to establish budget and analyze results; develop and distribute reports to communicate budget information; complete financial reporting forms requested by external agencies and partners; review monthly operating budgets and research and explain variances, and interpret financial results against planned (budgeted) performance and other analysis.

ACTIVITY3: I will learn to work in a team oriented environment, and bring the work of many individuals together to produce one cohesive end product.

ACTIVITY4: I will learn to resolve a variety of moderately complex internal and external inquiries concerning account status which will include communicating the resolution of discrepancies to the appropriate persons.

ACTIVITY5: I will learn to manage the development and maintenance of web application systems, including the requirements, design, development, implementation, and evaluation and future enhancements. I will also learn to evaluate system modifications and development requests to determine potential benefits and impact on business and computer operations. I will also learn to institute controls to maintain accuracy of data, and to remain knowledgeable of information technology and company business operations. I will learn effective promotional marketing techniques, and web design tools.

ACTIVITY6: I will learn to manage time, people and resources in an efficient, and accurate manner, and to continually monitor information needs and design new, or modify existing systems to meet changing requirements. I will also learn to review contracts and project documentation to provide assessment of risk, and to prepare and communicate risk assessments and responses to specific inquiries. Working with a diverse array of people will allow me to gain hands-on experience in use of different management styles and approaches. I will learn which approaches work best in particular situations, and which to avoid, and problem/conflict resolution.
