What is a "Virtual Job Fair"?
Virtual Job Fairs are becoming the trend for many recruiting organizations. The goal is to effectively connect many qualified candidates with gainful career opportunities. The technology utilized to power this event makes the job search process more productive and very convenient. If you are a full-time professional, you can explore a variety of job openings without taking time off from work. For two weeks, you can attend the fair from any Internet-accessible computer and submit your resume to companies of interest.
Virtual Job Fair Features
Complete a profile, upload your resume, and more! In the virtual job fair environment, you visit company booths, locate a variety of positions, leave business cards, and submit your resume for consideration. There is also a chat feature available for candidates to interact directly with recruiters.
Getting Registered
Event Launch
The University of Maryland University College Virtual Job Fair begins Monday, February 15, 2010. The event will end on Friday, February 26, 2010. You can sign on any time during the schedule days to participate.
Registration Process
This event is FREE and open to all currently enrolled UMUC students and UMUC alumni. Registration is required to participate in this event. Registration begins November 23, 2009.

Notify Your Employer: If your company has current or future openings, contact Career Services and provide us with the information. We will invite the recruiters to participate in this event and hire more UMUC students.
