Job Fairs: Information for Employers

Participate in a UMUC Job Fair!

The Office of Career Services typically sponsors several job fairs throughout the year where employers can meet with potential candidates.

UMUC has more than 147,000 students and alumni who are working adults with skills, experience and a desire to succeed.

  • Virtual Job Fairs

These online fairs take place through our UMUC Virtual Job Fair site. Students and alumni are invited to research companies, chat with representatives and submit resumes to employers who post information online. This is a great way to connect with students and alumni residing in the United States, as well as, those who live overseas or serve in the military.

  • On-Site Job Fairs

These fairs take place at the UMUC campus in Adelphi, Maryland or at other locations in and around the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Lasting one to two days, the job fairs bring qualified applicants together with local and national employers. Employers can host a booth or sponsor a special event.

All employers, students and alumni who are registered in CareerQuest (the online job, internship and resume database) will automatically receive information about upcoming job fairs.
