Give your organization access to motivated and experienced job candidates. Register for UMUC's 2009 Fall Job Fair.

Job Fair and Registration Information

You're invited to participate as an employer in the UMUC Spring Job Fair on Monday, October 19, 2009, 3–7 p.m. at the UMUC Inn and Conference Center located in Adelphi, Maryland.

The fair will include organizations from all job sectors. Our 2008 Fall Job Fair was a huge success—more than 60 employers and more than 500 students participated.

  • Registration: Signing up is easy. You can register online.
  • Cost: The cost to attend is $275, which gives you a standard display table and an afternoon coffee and snack break for representatives from your company. Or have your registration fee waived for this event—and for all other job fair events for an entire year—by becoming a sponsor!

Sponsorship Opportunities

As a sponsor, your company may benefit from

  • Registration fees waived at all UMUC job fairs for one year

Agenda

2–3 p.m. Company registration and set-up
3–7 p.m. Student networking with companies
7–8 p.m. Companies take down booth and pack up supplies

Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Directions and Parking

Parking is available in the Inn and Conference Center parking garage. We are able to provide employers parking vouchers for two vehicles. Parking vouchers will not be handed out until the conclusion of the job fair at 7 p.m.

If an employer chooses to bring more than two vehicles, then these additional vehicles may park at a rate of $1 dollar per hour.

Overnight Accommodations

Rooms are also located at the UMUC Inn and Conference Center by Marriott. Please call 301-985-7300 to reserve a room.

Cancellation Policy

By submitting your registration you are committing to participate in the Spring Job Fair and will be held responsible for payment, unless you cancel your registration within one week of the start of the fair. To cancel your registration, you must notify Katie Nailler via e-mail at knailler@umuc.edu.
