October 16, 2005–January 9, 2006
University of Maryland University College
Arts Program Gallery
The Arts Program at UMUC is proud to provide the venue for Chappelear's oeuvre—from his earliest impressionist landscapes to his most recent abstract work, shown for the first time in this exhibition. Visitors to the exhibit will experience the originality and vision that Chappelear has for modernism and his respect to process, technique, and subject matter, realized in the mixed media of painting, collage, and assemblage.
