Out-of-State Resident, Undergraduate and Standard Graduate Programs

You are eligible for the 25 percent Federal tuition discount if you meet all of the following criteria:

  • You are a Federal employee, spouse, or eligible dependent
  • You pay out-of-state tuition
  • You are enrolled in an undergraduate program or standard graduate program

Students in Specialty Graduate Programs

You are eligible for the 5 percent Federal specialty graduate tuition discount, regardless of residency or military status, if you meet all of the following criteria:

  • You are a Federal employee, spouse, or eligible dependent
  • You applied to UMUC in fall 2016 or later
  • You did not take any graduate courses prior to winter 2017
  • You enrolled in courses for a specialty graduate program in winter 2017 or later
